Sometimes regular Folic Acid isn’t enough.
A percentage of the population is genetically unable to metabolize folic acid into it’s active form. Tri-Folate contains regular Folic Acid, 5MTHF (5-methyl-tetrahydrofolate) and 5FTHF (5-Formyl-tetrahydrofolate) Tri-Folate is recommended in addition to the Smart B’s formula when homocysteine levels are very high, or if the regular B Vitamins and folic acid fail to bring levels down to normal.
