Why is Our Formula Different?
Resveratrol is found in varying amounts in grapes, various berries, plums, peanuts (and pines). Oral resveratrol is rapidly metabolized by the liver. The methylation of resveratrol (as in Pterostilbene) results in dramatically higher hepatic metabolic stability and intestinal absorption, compared to regular resveratrol. Quercitin, pterostilbene and resveratrol are synergistic antioxidants, with quercitin seemingly aiding in the absorption of resveratrol.

125 mg of pterostilbene per two capsules, (naturally methylated resveratrol), which is equivalent of 1250mg of Resveratrol, plus 30 mg of regular resveratrol. We then added 250mg of quercitin which is a weaker activator of Sirtuin 1 genes. We use it as the liver will detoxify it first before it is interested in the methylated resveratrol. So it is in there to increase the half life of pterostilbene.
The highest concentration of resveratrol per ml is 1.07mg/ 150ml. Our 1000 Glasses of Red Wine contains the equivalent of 1250mg of resveratrol which is approximately equivalent to 1168 glasses of red wine.
